Beast Screedlight Fire Resistant

ScreeLight is an insulating, lightweight, perlite-based composite screed that is most commonly used in under-tile heating applications to prevent downward heat loss or on flat roofs to create an insulating, lightweight slope to fall.

Description of bag: Plastic bag

3 months from date of manufacture printed on the packaging when stored at below 35°C under shade in a dry environment.

(1) ScreedLLight should be mixed manually to avoid product densification.
(2) Empty all of the contents of the bag. It is NOT advisable to use a portion of a bag as some settlement of the material may have occurred during transit.
(3) Use only clean, drinkable water and mix to an even dry-mix consistency on a pre- wet surface. DO NOT OVERMIX.
(4) Spread the mix and TAMP DOWN GENTLY. Perlite particles are fragile and overmixing will cause the perlite to pulverize, resulting in yield loss.
(5) DO NOT OVERWATER as too much water will weaken the mix.
(6) DO NOT REWORK by mixing in additional water.
(7) After the completion of the surface finishing, cover with plastic sheeting for at least 7 days to prevent loss of moisture. In cold weather, this period should be extended.

Keep in a dry place. Protect bags from rain, water and moisture. Place on a raised wooden platform or on plastic sheeting to prevent rising damp. Use within 3 months of the date of manufacture printed on the bag.
